Several prestigious scholarships and awards (Wolman, LARS, Cornell, etc.) are
available from the American Water Works Association. Of particular interest
right now are the Academic Achievement Awards, with an application deadline of
October 1, 2007. Two awards are given in each category: Masters thesis
and Doctoral dissertation, with award values as shown below:
$3,000 First place Doctoral dissertation
$1,500 Second place dissertation
$3,000 First place Masters thesis
$1,500 Second place thesis
