Paid Internships with the South Florida Water Management District
Designed for college juniors up through doctoral students. To qualify for the program, you must have a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or above and be a registered student. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate volunteer, unpaid internships. Collegiate Leaders In Environmental Health: Summer Undergraduate Internship 2008
CDC invites qualified applicants to apply for a ten week summer program for in Environmental Public Health at the National Center for Environmental Health /Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (NCEH/ATSDR) in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a 10 week paid summer internship for undergraduate students passionate about the environment, about health, and about the link between the two—this opportunity is for students majoring in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Studies, or related fields. This is a full time summer opportunity for rising collegiate juniors and seniors to get real-world experience in Environmental Public Health activities at the federal level. Students will assist with projects and be paired with mentors to gain experience in the fascinating field of Environmental Public Health. EPA Fellowships for Undergraduate Environmental Study
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency requests proposals for Fall 2008 EPA Greater Research Opportunities Fellowships for Undergraduate Environmental Study. Through this initiative, EPA seeks to support leadership in the nation's environmental science, research, education, assessment, restoration, and preservation efforts. Eligible students will receive support for junior and senior year, and an internship at an EPA facility. Planned course of study must focus on pollution prevention and/or control in one or more areas of environmental significance which includes: Natural and Life Sciences, Environmental Science, Engineering, Social Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematics and Computer Science, or Economics. $650K expected to be available, up to 20 awards anticipated, individual awards NTE $41.5K. This fellowship program provides students with three years of financial support including a $30,000 annual stipend and $10,500 cost-of-education allowance. Science, Mathematics and Research for Transformation (SMART) Defense Scholarship for Service Program
This Department of Defense Program is open to undergraduate and graduate students studying in the Science, Mathematics and Engineering fields and provides an annual salary, full tuition, and other normal educational expenses including health insurance and a book allowance. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals, and at least 18 years of age. There is an employment obligation to Department of Defense with this education program.
