Synopsis of Research Interests

Research interests are focused on the cycling, regulation, and biological role of trace metals and nutrients. Recent research efforts have been related to fate and transport of pollutants in aquatic systems, trace metal speciation and dynamics, environmental and analytical geochemistry, the geochemistry of streams, rivers, lakes and lacustrine sediments, remediation of metal contaminated systems, and the environmental fate and impacts of manufactured nanomaterials
