Synopsis of Research Interests

Research interestests are focused on aquatic ecology in the subtropics and tropics. Past interests have been in the areas of lake responses to eutrophication, acid rain and exotic species in Florida, and current projects are focused on the ecology, management and conservation of wetlands, streams and lakes throughout the subtropics and tropics, and restoration of aquatic ecosystems of mined lands.
