- Chemistry of advanced wastewater treatment including bionutrient and physical N and P removal
- Wetlands treatment /disposal of wastewater
- Treatment of leachate from landfills and hazardous waste sites
- Pilot plant construction, piping and supporting knowledge of pumping, motor, machinery and engine maintenance and repair
- Laboratory analysis of water and wastewater
- Management of large research projects utilizing interdisciplinary teams
- Large database management
