INSTRUCTIONS: TERM PAPER OR PROJECT
Each student must write a Term Paper or carry out a Project: (if funds
and materials are available)
Term Paper: Should be carried out on a topic suggested by the
instructor. The list of possible topics should be discussed with the
instructor. The term paper should be a critical review of research
related to the topic chosen by the student. The paper should be
approximately 15-page long and should be illustrated with figures
and/or tables (all figures and table should be properly referenced).
Project: A student may choose to carry out a research project
on a topic suggested by the instructor (limited number of topics
available). The final report should follow the following format:
1. Introduction: Literature review of the topic
2. Materials and Methods
3. Results and Discussion
4. Literature Cited: Each reference must be written according to the
following format:
Literature cited (for both term papers or projects)
Doe, J. Date. Complete title of article. Journal, volume number, pages
(inclusive pages)
For a chapter in a book:
Doe, J. Date. Title of chapter. In: Title of Book, pp. --to---,
Editor, Publisher, City.
PLEASE NOTE: Two copies of the report should be handed to the
instructor. One copy will returned to the student with a grade. The
other one will kept by the instructor.
GRADES DISTRIBUTION
Mid-Term Exam: 30%
Final Exam: 35%
Home Work 15%
Project:/Term Paper 20%
