The Environmental Systems Commercial Space Technology Center
The Environmental Systems Commercial Space Technology Center The ES CSTC is housed at the University of Florida’s Department of Environmental Engineering Sciences (EES) in Gainesville, Florida. The purpose of the Center is to develop technologies for use in long-duration human space flight, while at the same time serving as a catalyst for current, “real-life”, commercial application of the technologies developed.

The Center for Wetlands at the University of Florida The Center for Wetlands at the University of Florida, the first of its kind in the world, was founded in 1973 by H.T. Odum. His goal was to use the Center as a focal point for both basic ecological research on wetlands as well as their sustainable use in meeting environmental management needs of the society.

The Center for Environmental Policy
The Center for Environmental Policy The Center for Environmental Policy conducts research, sponsors conferences, and aids teaching of energy systems, systems ecology, ecological economics, and ecological engineering that are the basis for sustainable environmental policy. Research on "Emergy" Evaluation is a main thrust of the Center, since maximizing real wealth as measured by Emergy is a general public policy principle.
