Graduate Application Materials Check

Graduate application materials are reviewed by the prospective admitting Department and the Graduate Admissions office. Required application materials (such as test scores, transcripts, and other items required to be supplied by the applicant for admission review) may be received by either the Graduate Admission Office or by the Department, depending on the application process requirements (see How to Apply for specific instructions).

Graduate Admissions Office Materials Check

You may check the status of your admissions materials at the Graduate Admissions Office by going to http://www.admissions.ufl.edu/start.html, selecting the "Graduate" application process, then choosing "Returning to check status/update/add new recommendation" in the Application Menu. After logging in, you will be able to view your application status, along with materials that have been received by the Graduate Admissions Office.

Department Materials Check

For those materials that are sent to directly to the Department or are forwarded to us from the Graduate Admissions Office, we are providing a method for you to view their status in addition to the Graduate Admissions site above. The items that we are providing status updates for include:

  • Statement of Purpose
  • Letters of Recommendation
  • Transcripts
  • GRE Scores
  • TOEFL score (if required)

Some of these items we may receive directly from you, some may be forwarded from the Graduate Admissions Office, but in either case the following page will indicate whether our office has possession of the indicated documents. We MUST receive all of the required documents to review your application.

To access the Department Materials Check page

To view your Department materials status online, you will need to have created and know your Gatorlink User account and password. If you have already created a Gatorlink account, you may skip to the next paragraph. Otherwise you will first need to create a Gatorlink account by going to the University Create Gatorlink Account page. You will need to know your UFID (which you were given when you created your Graduate Application), your last name and date of birth.

Once you have created your Gatorlink Account, allow up to 24 hours for the account to become active. After that period, you can proceed by pressing the "View Application Materials Status" below. When prompted for your username and password, enter your Gatorlink username and password. Once entered and validated, you will be able to view and verify your materials status.
