Deadlines and Critical Dates

Normally the Department only admits graduate students in the Fall and Spring semesters.

All applications for the Fall and Spring terms will be considered complete only if completed in both the Department and the Office of Admissions.
In the event you submit your application after the stated deadlines, consideration may be granted.  However, your application may not be processed in time and a $100 late registration fee may apply.

Fall Admission

• Deadline date for completed applications to be considered for financial aid: February 1
• Funding letters will go out: Tentative Date - March 15
• Deadline date for completed applications without financial aid: April 1
• Applicants without a Faculty Advisor will be denied: May 1

Spring Admission

• Deadline date for completed applications to be considered for financial aid: October 1
• Funding decisions made by the Faculty and the Department: October 15
• Deadline date for completed applications without financial aid: November 1
• Applicants without Faculty Advisor will be denied: December 1
