(Recommended)
If you would like for anyone other than yourself to
have access to the information in your application file,
you must provide written consent with the names of those
whom you wish to have access. This includes inquiries
pertaining to the status of your application. This cannot
be sent through e-mail or fax. We strongly encourage you
to also send a written consent to the Office of Admissions
as well as our Department.

Additional Information
You Will Need for Online Application
Have the following items on hand BEFORE accessing the
online application:
- Emergency contact person, address and phone number
(all applicants)
- All Post-Secondary schools attended - names, dates,
and degrees (all applicants)
- Junior-Senior level Grades and credit hours for
self-reported Grade Point Average calculation (US
Citizens only)
- Current college enrollment & any courses to be
completed prior to UF Graduate school admission -
course names, credit hours, dates (all applicants)
- Admissions Test scores (GRE for all applicants,
TOEFL for international) for self-reporting (in
addition to sending official test scores, you
must report them on the application. For details see
sections on Minimum
Requirements and Official
Documents).
- If claiming Florida residency: voter registration,
driver license, vehicle registration.
If you are claiming residency other than as an
independent person living in Florida for the past
year, you may need additional information. See details
on claiming Florida
Residency.

$30 Application Fee
Checks and money orders should be made payable to the
University of Florida. Do not send cash. Previous
applicants who have paid a $30 application fee are exempt.
Your
application will not be processed without the required
fee.

of the steps. There are materials which you must also mail and it
is recommended that you collect and complete all of your
supplementary materials before submitting the on-line application.
