Research in Environmental Nanotechnology covers three major topics:

  • Manufacturing and tailoring of nanomaterials and nanodevices for application in environmental and human health research
  • Environmental fate and transport of nanomaterials
  • Environmental implications of nanomaterials
In addition to research, a sequence of two courses titled "Sustainable Nanotechnology I and II" focusing on the afore-mentioned aspects of nanomaterials are offered in Fall (Part-I) and Spring (Part-II) semesters. Other relevant courses include Adsorption/Absorption Phenomena and Aerosol Mechanics.
